About this experience
There's nothing like tasting fresh, warm hallloumi cheese straight out of the pot and on this small group excursion there'll be plenty to enjoy throughout the day! During this unique activity you'll have the opportunity to make 2 kinds of Cypriot cheeses alongside a local family. The workshop ends with a tasting of the cheeses plus a delicious brunch!
We'll also include 3 bonus stops to further explore the mountain countryside... A beautiful monastery where you'll have time to roam the grounds & enjoy this scenic location. A winery visit where we'll tour the premises, learn about the indigenous grape varieties of Cyprus and taste a selection of wines. Our last foodie spot will be a sweet stop guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds!

We offer door-to-door transport from almost any Paphos location including hotels, airbnbs, private accommodation, landmarks etc. If for any reason we aren't able to pickup from your location then a full refund will be processed.

What To Bring
- We generally recommend you having breakfast before pickup - brunch will be around 12pm.
- We advise wearing comfortable shoes.
- If you've booked between October - May then we advise that you bring an extra layer if possible as the mountain weather can be quite cold between these months.
- If you plan to purchase any traditional products, wine or souvenirs during the trip - please bring along some cash as some of the hosts / village shops may not have card payment machines.
- Bottled water is available throughout the tour and provided by your guide. However, if you have your own reusable water bottle then it would be great to bring this along as we're not fans of plastic waste! If you do need water - feel free to ask the guide at any time for a bottle.

- Please note that the start time for this tour is approximate and your exact pick-up time will vary depending on which town and accommodation you're being collected from. You'll be contacted on the afternoon before your tour to confirm your exact pick-up time.
- The timings stated for this tour are approximate and should be considered flexible. Exact timings will depend on the pick-up locations and final number of participants. If you need to be returned to your drop-off point at a certain time - please let us know well in advance.
- Transportation is not charged for this experience and is offered free of charge with your culinary activity. The fee paid to Cyprus Taste Tours is strictly charged for hosting and culinary activity services. There is no discount applied if you wish to join with your own driver/vehicle.
- PLEASE NOTE: The Troodos mountain range spans Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia and it is in the mountainous areas of these districts that you find the rural villages of Cyprus. This tour DOES NOT visit Troodos Square specifically and will only visit various villages within the Troodos mountain region.
- We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops we’ll be visiting. However, here’s an example list of products - traditional sweets / wine / olive oil / etc.
